The Powertec Soil Condition Sensor kit has been developed to provide Australian farmers with real-time soil monitoring data.

EnviroPro® sub-surface Soil Probes have been carefully engineered to be accurate, long-life, maintenance-free instruments suitable for all soil types. Their design employs clever techniques to correctly compensate moisture measurements for variations in salinity, as well as compensating moisture and salinity measurements for temperature variations, something not observed in any competitor probes.

Salinity measurements help to track the absorption of fertiliser through the root depth, as well as alerting to unfavourable groundwater conditions.

Aggregating potentially hundreds of soil sensors together on the myinsight.io dashboard can provide unparalleled insight into soil changes allowing you to develop precision cropping techniques, with a range of applications from developing fertilisation schedules, triggering leaching irrigation on a when-required basis, and alerting to problem areas.
