The Powertec Rainfall Monitoring Kit is a micro weather station developed to provide Australian farmers with real-time rainfall monitoring data. Designed to meet the guidelines of the World Meteorological Organization, the self-emptying tipping-bucket design is exceptionally accurate. Used to display daily and accumulated rainfall, as well as the rate of rainfall.

Larger farming properties often experience differing rainfall across their large geographical area. Combined with one or two major weather stations, these compact and economic units can be deployed in numbers to provide a clear and concise picture of weather conditions.

Aggregating potentially hundreds of weather stations together on the myinsight.io dashboard can provide unparalleled insight into rain conditions. This allows you to not only make proactive decisions, but also graph and store historical measurements to reveal seasonal patterns.

This kit is powered using the included 6 Volt 2 Watt solar power kit. The system includes all necessary mounting brackets and cables.
